Neighborhood Purpose Grants (NPGs) & Community Improvement Projects (CIPs)

Description
The West Los Angeles Sawtelle Neighborhood Council (WLASNC) supports projects that strengthen our community, build connections, and improve quality of life for residents. Through Neighborhood Purpose Grants (NPGs) and Community Improvement Projects (CIPs), local nonprofits, schools, and community groups can apply for funding to support initiatives such as education, cultural enrichment, beautification, public safety, sustainability, and neighborhood engagement.

These programs provide an opportunity to bring positive, lasting change to our neighborhood by partnering with organizations dedicated to making West LA-Sawtelle a vibrant, inclusive, and thriving place to live.

How to Apply

  1. Review WLASNC’s funding guidelines and eligibility requirements.

  2. Complete the appropriate application form:

    • Neighborhood Purpose Grant (NPG) application for nonprofit and school-based projects.

    • Community Improvement Project (CIP) application for physical improvements or community-based initiatives.

  3. Submit your completed application, along with supporting documents, to the WLASNC Budget & Finance Committee by the posted deadline.

  4. Applications are reviewed by the committee, then presented to the full WLASNC Board for approval.
