Neighborhood Councils are the closest form of government to the people. We are advisory bodies that advocate for our communities with City Hall on important issues like development, homelessness, and emergency preparedness.

We are part of the Los Angeles City government and have annual budgets funded by taxpayer dollars.

The West Los Angeles Sawtelle Neighborhood Council was certified on October 3, 2003, to serve every person having a stake within its borders.

Our Board meets on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 7pm.
