Overview

Neighborhood Councils are the closest form of government to the people. We are advisory bodies that advocate for our communities with City Hall on important issues like development, homelessness, and emergency preparedness.

West LA Sawtelle Neighborhood Council is a part of the Los Angeles City government and has annual budgets funded by taxpayer dollars. The West Los Angeles Sawtelle Neighborhood Council was certified on October 3, 2003, to serve every person having a stake within its borders.

Our mission is to provide representation and advocacy for the diverse interests of all stakeholders within the West LA Sawtelle neighborhood boundaries.

Our Board meets on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 7pm.
