On Wednesday November 1 at 10am, the LA City Council will discuss whether Neighborhood Councils can meet virtually under the new State law created when Governor Newsom signed SB411 earlier this month.

Declaring a Local Emergency to Address LA County’s Homelessness Crisis
At this week’s Board Meeting, we passed my motion, coauthored by Supervisor Kathryn Barger, declaring a local emergency over the homelessness crisis in Los Angeles County.

Dear AADAP 'Ohana, 

We are saddened to hear about the acts of violence that has impacted the AAPI community this past weekend.  One of Los Angeles County's largest Asian populations is located in Monterey Park. It is tragic that this incident happened on the eve of Lunar New Year, the most significant event in many AAPI communities. 

Filing deadline is coming up very soon for neighbors and stakeholders who want to be be a candidate on the Sawtelle Neighborhood Council election.
