Neighborhood Stakeholder: LA Courthouse Skateboarders

The West LA Civic Center and Courthouse is an important and historical landmark for skateboarders on the westside and around the world. UCLA’s urban planning group UnCommon organized an event “Make Space DIY” in the fall of 2022 to highlight the improvisational nature of placemaking and the value of places, especially the West LA Courthouse, to the skateboarding community.
