As a community of immigrants and as an organization of many first- and second-generation immigrants, or people whose partners are immigrants, we are continually shocked and dismayed by the way immigrants, regardless of their legal status, have been treated, scapegoated, and shamed by the current political discourse.

Sawtelle is a neighborhood of immigrants. Immigration is part of our history and identity.
